"Everyone knows Price - Few know Value."
Value is defined as "the present worth of future benefits arising out of ownership."
The American Society of Appraisers (ASA) is an international organization of appraisal professionals and others interested in the appraisal profession dedicated to teaching and upholding consistent, authorized, and ethical standards in the appraisal industry.
Compliance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) is a prominent feature of ASA's program. USPAP's requirements are recognized by the insurance industry as definitive (Inland Marine Underwriters Association (IMUA), the trade association of insurers). Similarly, the qualifications of the members of the American Society of Appraisers is acknowledged by the U.S. Court of Appeals (Tom G. Murphy v. Commissioner, No. 92-70108, 1993 US App).
Accredited by the American Society of Appraisers, Mr. Fehrman's appraisal reports, technical investigations, consultations, and expert testimonies are in strict compliance with the industry's highest standards.
Indeed, Mr. Fehrman was inducted into the College of Fellows of the American Society of Appraisers (FASA) in 2006 for his "... distinguished service and professional leadership."
Please note that presently there are 54 active members in the ASA College of Fellows. Throughout ASA’s history, a total of only 112 have been conferred the distinction.
